In Cheshire County, gleaning is coordinated through The Community Kitchen, Inc., an emergency food agency that serves residents of the Monadnock Region with a weekly pantry program and hot meals six days a week. Produce that is gleaned in Cheshire County also makes its way to local community food shelves and school meals programs.

The Gleaning Coordinators are happy to help facilitate any arrangements that will save local produce from going to waste and help it reach people facing food insecurity across Cheshire County. The gleaning project also works with a number of corporate and institutional partners to raise food through "charitable gardening." This food is grown for the sole purpose of supplying fresh, high quality local produce to charitable food agencies.
